H.Y.M.T: Wormlane was our first game project at The Game Assembly, and my first game in Unity. I learned a lot about working in a mainstream game engine, something that was quite unfamiliar to me at first.
In the beginning of the project, both to familiarize myself with working in Unity as well as to provide something tangible, I worked on a player movement prototype which was successful.
I then moved on to working on the UI implementation, a checkpoint/level loading system as well as implementing animations for every animated asset.
